Professional Tennis is a privileged worldwide sports that can give back. Due to the coronavirus crisis the international tennis circuits had been layed off from April until July.

In the meantime, players either used the time to heal various injuries, load up their energy or develop certain parts of their game. We all hope for speedy return of sports, whenever possible and in good health.

Like Wimbledon the US Open helped save lives: The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center was converted into a makeshift hospital (s. below: Indoor Courts filled with beds) as New York City fights the spread of COVID-19:
