Timeout vs. Burnout

Competitive thinking and a rough atmosphere at events often make closer contacts more difficult. Everyone is busy with themselves, concentrating exclusively on their tennis game to be successful.

In order to escape the stress of tournaments for some time, I went on little excursions. For example I checked out the views from Ulm Minster (Germany), the Sun and Moon Pyramids near Mexico City or the Eiffel Tower in Paris. After all, climbing stairs also keeps you fit.

All sightseeing tours were dependent on my tennis results. The more success I had at work, the less time there was for leisure. Experiences outside of the tennis circus energized and motivated me to compete and travel on tour. Of course, success at the tournaments was the first priority !!
